It's hard to believe that Erika + Bryan's wedding was just over a month ago on February 20th, 2020! We were so excited to head out to Long Beach, CA for a wedding on the Queen Mary! It was our first destination wedding of 2020 and we had no idea that life was about to change in such a fast paced and dramatic fashion. So much is different and unknown now, but looking through these images makes my heart happy, and reminds me of what's really important 😂😘
Most couples choose their venue based on location or scenery and while the Queen Mary checks both of those boxes, the venue choice actually has a little more significance. Erika + Bryan's wedding story actually began over 100 years ago when Bryan's grandfather immigrated to the United States from Scotland in 1952. The Queen Mary first set sail from England, in 1936 and sailed until 1967. The ship carried some 2.2 million passengers in peacetime and 810,000 military personnel in the Second World War.
Watching this new family walk the same deck that brought Bryan's grandfather to this country was pretty special🥰
