Hank and I were so excited for PHOTO + VIDEO time at Lori Ann + Shane's Fall Maroon Bells elopement. It was absolutely stunning! They picked the 9/22 date a year out and the timing was impeccable! If you're thinking about a Maroon Bells Elopement, we highly suggest renting the amphitheater space. It is around $200 and gets you 5 parking spaces at the front lot! So worth it;) Spaces fill up fast so make sure to get your date reserved asap and consider a weekday if you can!
Like most couples this year, COVID turned their wedding into an intimate elopement. Reading the heartfelt vows in this epic setting, with only us, their officiant and a close local friend and his pup, wasn't what they originally intended. It couldn't have been any more special and really, just perfect - witnessing and capturing these surreal moments is the best!
Shane and Lori Ann's story is one of those that makes you smile and shows how "full circle" our lives can be and how important timing is! Their love story, really hits home and mirrors Hank and I's story in so many ways🥰 They met in high school when Lori Ann was dating someone else, but continued to stay in touch until they were both single after college. They moved in together in 2003 and dated for awhile but had different priorities and were not on the same page. Years passed and they both learned and grew on their own. Then in December of 2018, Shane visited the Lori Ann during a family Christmas visit and the relationship easily rekindled. They never got over each other;) 2019 was spent traveling back and forth from Florida to Colorado to slowly ease Lori Ann into the idea of moving to Colorado. Shane finally popped the question in July of 2019 on top of Mount Evans and the rest is history! Check out some of our favorites from their 2-hour elopement!
